On site Staff very nice and helpful. Huge room (see below) Metrolink tram stop 5mins walk then 10mins to town centre. 5mins to OWS(wimming) , Salford Quays Kettle in room Simultaneously a pro and con - Made a mistake with my booking which (PRO) Trafford hall kindly altered with no extra charge BUT (CON) it took 8 days and half a dozen increasingly fraught emails to effect.Even then only got a decision after "reminding" them that even before arrival they'd already supplied me with 7days of negativity to post in a review. Didn't use them but retail park across the rd and salford quays and Trafford malls within 10mins

Was a bit put off by the reviews for this place, but it really isn’t like what other people have been saying. What sold us was the location. Super easy to get the tram into the city centre, and is super close to the Victoria Warehouse for our gig. Staff are really polite and helpful here which is fab to see! Room was spotless and super comfortable. Discount on drinks was a great touch too! We didn’t eat at this hotel but it looked amazing from what we saw! Parking is only £5, and we were allowed to park up WAY before check-in time!!! Will definitely be coming back to this one whenever we’re in Manchester. If you’re considering this hotel, just book it. Don’t let reviews sway your decision.

Perfect location near lots of amenities and landmarks, places such as Old Trafford (cricket and football grounds), Trafford Centre (shopping), Media City (including Imperial War Museum) were all very close by, either short walk or car/bus ride away. The hotel was super clean and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Quick to respond to queries prior to our arrival and nothing was too much trouble when we arrived. Parking was very a very reasonable charge per night and they also provide spaces with EV chargers (payable separately). We ate breakfast both mornings, great hot and cold choices available. Dinner on our 2nd evening there was perfect, steak cooked precisely as requested. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, and every visit has been nothing short of amazing. The receptionists truly set this place apart—they are the most welcoming, friendly, and hospitable staff I’ve encountered in any hotel. Their warm smiles and outstanding service make every check-in and interaction a pleasure. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, well-designed, and of excellent quality, surpassing many higher-priced hotels. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is inviting and relaxing, making it a perfect stay whether for business or leisure. Despite being more affordable than many other hotels, I would still choose to stay here even if it were priced higher. The overall experience—exceptional service, cozy rooms, and great ambiance—makes this my go-to hotel every time. Highly recommended!

The hotel is placed in a quiet corner one minute away walking from Trafford bar station. That means that you’re directly connected to the airport and the city centre by metro link, the tram from Manchester. And you’re very close to the Mancher. It’s really nice and a classic building. The breakfast is very good and tasty. But specially, I’d like to thank the staff of the hotel for their hospitality and helpful attitude. I send greetings to all the ones I met, specially Anagha, who greeted me when I arrived. Overall, I fully recommend the hotel.

I like the position of the property - being very close to our sons house! It was quiet at. Night due to being at the back of the hotel. Our room was a really good size and warm. Very comfortable king size bed. Sheets changed every 2 days. Bath towels changed every day - although we hung them up! Staff friendly and helpful. Room was good value (we got an upgrade I think!) Our parking was free too.

I had a 2 night stay and my room was situated at the back of the hotel. some original features remain in the hotel which gives it great character and meaning to want to stay here again! Great size building. the main stairs leading up to the rooms are fantastic! staff at the check in desk were very welcoming and knew what they were doing. even showed me up to my room. My room was a great size and i was even more happier as i had a double bed tho it stated just a single on the confirmation. heating was great at this time of year along with very soft bed sheets! You also get discount on food in the restaurant as a guest. very good location for where I needed to be! I'm sure I'll be back again

I had room number 3 on the ground floor. It was modest in size but clean, warm, cosy, well-equipped, and the bathroom looked new. The breakfast meal offered a wide range of food. I had fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt, eggs and salmon, toast and tea (yes, I am a growing lad). The location is west of the city, 15 mins from Piccadilly by tram getting off at Trafford Bar. then a two-minute walk (take an immediate left once you leave Trafford Bar station and follow the footpath). The area outside the hotel is industrial, and at the time was not pretty as there were roadworks and other construction works but I would imagine that will improve over time so don't let that deter you from booking. I went into the city for my dinner but I could easily have had steak at the hotel restaurant and maybe I should have done so because it was pouring with rain in Manchester and I was soaked. After my early breakfast I was able to work in my room until 10:45am. Check-in is 3pm and check-out is 11am. I would recommend this hotel.
